>>1179219>>1179219it is an interesting paradox! but if nothing else at all is different, our observation of it happening before is still a uniqueness to it
plus, i make my coffee in the morning the same way every time, but that new cup is new to me, and i shall enjoy it fully!
thanks for coming into the thread ^_^

>>1179219>>1179220Another way to think about it is not so much a paradox but a blurring of scale of reference.
Sure, almost every
individual thing that could happen has happened before, but no where near every possible
combination of things has happened before, and there is almost no situation in life one can experience where the total combination of things happening all at once is a combination one has experienced before. Even when the elements are familiar.
Very few books one can read in English coins new words, and every book uses words with the expectation that the reader is already familiar with what each word means, but there are practically a potentially cosmicly large number of books one can write with those words that we're no where close to having written every possible book.
In western music theory, songs are written using scales of seven notes from a chromatography scale of twelve notes in a variety of interval patterns. Under this system there are roughly 24,576 possible scales, and a damn near infinite number of melodies and riffs that one could write using notes in just
one scale, and nearly infinitely more infinite numbers of songs one could compose using more than one scale, like changing keys.

>>1179225very true! a combination of new things from the same base set exists in all things to a certain degree! i mean hell, our atoms are a jumble of electrons, nuetrons, and protons, yet nearly everything exists from that!
also i'm glad to see you andrea!
>hugs <3and thank you for sharing this once in a lifetime moment ^_^

>>1179217I very much love the twin concepts of "spontaneous art" and "spontaneous music"!
There's something very magical about letting the particular power of a moment create something new in whatever you're, say, painting! Or that happening when you're having fun while singing!

>>1179227i do love it at concerts when the bands/singers interact with the audience, and you get to actual sing along with them. it is a truly trancendent experience; and Freddie Mercury was the king of doing exactly that <3
a moment that won't show up on an album (unless you happen to be at the live recording of one), and is something you can cherish forever <3
thank you for sharing that and this once in a lifetime moment <3

>>1179390>>1179390I'm a music pleb admittedly but isn't there also a story about how one of the more famous of Slash's riffs was just a little exercise he used for tuning his guitar before the rest of the band decided to use it in a song?
There Re a lot of cases of "lightning in a bottle" creatives just kind of doing their thing and it suddenly taking off.
Inspiring. And a bit frustrating, hah.

>>1179391>>1179390Reminds me how a Muse is an actual fae like creature that would visit people and give them inspiration, but then would duck out
As tho such things were a divine inspiration, and would only come when in the presence of such magic

>>1179406I mean there ARE artists and creatives out there who say they feel more like they are channeling something else than it is themselves being brilliant.
Which I suppose is a way to try and stay humble, but that still means whatever was the creative force chose them as their chaneneler.
