This is one of my hobbies that I have semi recently gotten into-breeding isopods.
I don't know the exact species these guys are, but I'm going to try to breed for more bold patterns down their back.

as for me, it's hard to say what is hobby and what is not, cause i'm trying to make them all become something; so in no particulr order, i animate, i art, i write screenplays, and i kung fu!

On occasion. When Brav was still alive, we sometimes used Disney Plus watchalong or that Netflix Party app during the pandemic.
As for a Watchalong on Discord, it could be fun, sure. I probably couldn't do it on Twitch considering I am partnered there, even if I rarely see a payout.
But really, there's a lot of movies I do wanna see where I also know I am the only one and I just... don't get around to it as often anymore. It's frustrating. Cause like I said, I do want to.
The cooking streams sound fun, by the way. I do remember you mentioning that before. Gotten your hands on any stuff you need for it yet?

Well I was getting things together and then poop hit the fan.
Long and short I've had two major medical incidents one broke my back and the other has left me with half a neck. If it were October I would win costume contests.
I'm thinking I'm just gonna set up three of my cheap phones at the moment on mounts and use a text to speech for a bit. Hopefully once some funds clear I can commission an artist for two sprites for a character and then just hide behind them.

Ain't no shame in having yourself a Toontuber avatar. Lots of folks doing that lately. Hell, I did it myself very recently. It's actually a lot of fun. And a few phones on stands is absolutely a viable option. Make sure to keep things decently lit, and just about any phone should be able to capture some perfectly adequate footage.

Could be worse. I still have half a neck and the other half will grow back eventually. I think my surgeon was the best part cause the phases "how are you awake?" And "you should be dead" cake up so I got to burn my luck on getting out of it.
I have some cheap lamps I used for photography in the kitchens. I have a really nice cutting board and stoneware for closeups finishing shots. I can get my hands on some decent fish once I'm up and about so I might start there. I've been craving tacos since I got out.

Sounds like a plan to me. Get a semi decent mic for recording and you're golden. Sound quality is definitely gonna be the main thing you wanna splurge a bit on.

I know I am just repeating advice I only rarely follow myself, but it really is a matter of just starting it with wwhat you have when you can. Making sure to have some decent starter stuff is nice (and again, audio quality is one of the more important parts for sure), but the ideal is that people come for the content but stay for the creator.
You'll do fine, I'm sure.

well i'm nearly done with the first draft of a pilot that i came up with, I'll do proofreading (as well as an overhaul on the dialogue) then probably move onto another writing thing. for animation, i've been working on a project for about 6 months, and it's a ways off from being done, but i am very happy with how it's lookin so far
as for kung fu, been praciticing more, and will be meeting up with kung fu brothers tomorrow to practice taiji mantis forms
