Have you ever used a GLP-1 receptor agonist (e.g., Ozempic (semaglutide), Zepbound (tirzepatide))?  I've gotten too fat (BMI: 25.8 kg/m^2, body fat percentage: 26% measured by electrical impedance) so I'm considering either getting a prescription for tirzepatide or buying gray-market retatrutide.

Retatrutide has the advantage of better preserving lean mass and metabolism, but I can obtain it only from gray-market 'research use only' sources, which introduces significant tail risks (including uncertain product quality, potential contaminants, and dosing inaccuracies), plus there isn't phase-3 safety data yet.  Also the gray-market route is much cheaper, especially if my insurance doesn't cover GLP-1 drugs for me.

Might be more straightforward to just add in more exercise. Body weight exercises and walks/jogs are free. Your insurance also might cover a gym membership for no extra cost. Mine does, I'm sure others do so as well. Go for the tirzepatide prescription if you want but there's a lot of other options before grey market drugs for slimming down.

Only relatively close experience I have personally with any of the medications is my friend's wife taking Ozempic. Seemed to help her out a bit. Didn't ask about it, just happened to notice she was doing so.

I could stand to lose some weight.
However, I am not as desperate to put some chemicals in my body to target that.

Just a bit of excercise and maybe timely watching my intake should be enough for now.

I use liraglutide to manage type 2 diabetes (MODY specifically),  pretty sure that's a GLP-1 agonist.

I'm not actively excersizing any more than my job makes me and certainly not thinking very hard about my diet but I have gradually lost about 10 - 15 lbs over the past year and a half since starting this retail job.

Have you considered not eating for a while, like this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angus_Barbieri%27s_fast ?

I'm starting to lift again (squat, bench press, deadlift) as well as brisk walking for some cardio.

Eh?  If you ever eat deep-fried food, you're already putting much more dangerous chemicals (e.g., 4-HNE) in your body.

Yup, liraglutide is a GLP-1 agonist.

Yes, I considered and rejected that, due to negative health consequences.  Fasting (or even eating a lot below TDEE) slows down one's metabolism and can cause micronutrient deficiencies.
