I'm not going to link to it, but I will explain the video.
Its just two guys who run into one another both of them on different sides, both without guns or backup with nobody else around all on their own in a dirty, muddy wasteland. The footage being filmed via a chest mounted go pro. For a whole 15 minutes they struggle to beat one another, rolling around, stabbing each other over and over until the one with the gopro is clearly too tired and is covered in his own blood to carry on and is clearly slowly passing away from blood loss.
At this point the dying gopro solider speaks to the Russian solider. The following conversation happens before the end, translated into English.
Ukrainian: This is it, this is the end. Goodbye mother
Ukrainian: You cut me good, let me catch my breath
Ukrainian: Let me die in peace, please go, don't finish me off let me die on my own
Russian: Ok
Ukrainian: You were better than me, you are the better warrior. You were better.
Russian: Goodbye brother
It's crazy to think that in the thousands of years of human warfare there have probably been countless personal fights and conflicts between two men just like this.. It's just this was recorded
