Berry flavoured suet pellets.

Outside my bedroom window is the roof of our kitchen, I scatter the suet on the roof and I get to watch the birds outside my window.

>>1187943  that's pretty cool; have you considered installing a suet feeder outside your window?
>>1187944  oh, haha!  it's funny you read that.  no, I'm not ready, but I had a talk with one of my houseguests about it.  they are at least aware of my plans now.  I'll start tossing some things tomorrow, and then move things around on Sunday or Monday.

 No.1187946

>>1187945
I can only open the window a few inch wide, so I use a flatteren cereal box to scatter the pellets outside.

If I could, I would scatter them further away so that the birds would be more comfortable and I can see them better, but I can't scatter them that far.

I did thought about hanging a bird feeder from my window handle, but worried birds my fly in.

>>1187946  What about doing it from the ground level?
Do you keep the window open when you aren't there feeding them?

 No.1187949

>>1187948
I can't reach the roof from ground level, and it be a hassle getting a ladder just to feed them.

I keep the window open given weather is getting warmer of late and I need the fresh air.

I'm not looking forward to summer and its heat.

Luckily, Spring weather is more leniant, cool breeze coming through my window. It's when Summer hits thing'll be hot and sweaty, and not in the fun way.

>>1187969  ok...  you can get half a dozen 2-by-4's, a bunch of nails, build a frame inside part of the room going almost to the ceiling, and use it as a scaffold to hang all sorts of fans without having to do anything to the walls or ceiling, making your room into a vortex of wind.  problem solved!

>>1187971  that's the great thing about a scaffold, though.  you can build it over your other stuff, even bulky stuff.  I built one just like that some time ago, to go over my couch.

 No.1187973

>>1187972
scaffolding requires room for structure though. My bedroom only has a few meters of walking space. And I'm pretty sure my fan is a tripping hazard due to the plugs cable.
