I own a Hunting Rifle for home defense, since that's what Boone intended. Four Legionarys break into my Novac motel room. I shouted "My wifes dead" as I grab my 1st Recon beret and Hunting Rifle, and blow a golf ball sized hole through the first Legionary, he's dead on the spot. Draw my 10mm Pistol on the second Legionary, miss him entirely because it's almost broken and nails the Legionarys mongrel. I have to resort to the Anti Materiel Rifle mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with .50 MG explosive rounds, "The last thing you never see" I shout as the explosive round shreds two of the Legionarys in the blast, pull out my combat knife and charge the last terrified Legionary. He Bleeds out waiting on a Centurion to arrive since broken limbs are impossible to fix without a Doctors bag or Super Stimpak.. Just as Boone intended!

The British television program about U.K. cops called 'New Tricks' features an interesting case in which two politicians are arguing while standing next to a pointy pile of concrete rocks while outside (by accident).

One guy is pretty angry and pushes the other dude in a pretty normal fashion. The victim falls onto the pointy concrete and then gets a hard wound to the head that kills him in a matter of seconds. Naturally, the other politician is confused as all hell. And horrified.

While fiction, this does illustrate two facts about humanity:

>1. Human bodies are fragile and ending a life can happen tragically easy, without intent.

>2. Regular outside environments that you walk around in and that you wouldn't think of as being bad, evil, or scary can still pose serious risks.

What do you think?

I suppose I should be even more clear that I'm trying to make the point that human health (and life itself) is a delicate, fragile thing that we should both value a lot and also be understanding about given risks.

Like roses. Tulips. Carnations. That sort of thing. That all make sense?

Regardless of if you like your pancakes in the more British and European thin Crêpe style or you prefer your big thick fat American style pancakes I hope you have a very tasty day!

I recently got an e-mail about adding spicy sauce to my breakfasts!

To be honest, the idea of putting some "jalapeno lime" atop egg sandwiches and the like doesn't appeal to me!

Yet I wonder about all of you! Now that it's spring, are you eating spicy things less than during the winter? Maybe more? Would you guzzle down the hot sauce that I got this ad for, well, if you had the chance?

I try not to think about life in the 90s, 00s, and 10s, compared to now, much myself. In personal life terms, I guess, the decline and stagnation is honestly nightmare inducing. And more broadly when it comes to family and friends... yeah. Still nightmare inducing. Don't get me started on the country as a whole either.

At some point, though, I hold out hope for some kind of major bit of progress or other radical change. I know that they happen. That's a fact.

Do you want to watch the films and also television episodes featuring these "slimy" creatures from outer space walking on this rock of ours, with the magazine above calling them "the planet’s greatest threat"?

The "we" here is the problem in these sorts of statements.

The United States has wiped out a lot of diseases from itself as a country, with my memory telling me that it's like a dozen at the moment, but this doesn't apply to the world, particularly if we're talking about Asia and Europe (separated off by two oceans from the U.S., of course).

If "we" means "humanity", then I'm pretty sure that there are only two conditions that're gone. Smallpox being one of them like >>1185306 described.
